Baby Ian's Treatment - Positional Plagiocephaly - Measuring Progress....

Here's some pictures of Ian from the top...

	BEFORE DOC BAND THERAPY. There is flattening all along the back, causing the headshape to be wide and tall (Brachecephlic Headshape). The left side of his head is more flat than the right causing asymmetry, and his forehead diagonal to the back left side, slopes off considerably. The DOC Band will first correct the asymmetry while holding the height from getting taller. Ian is 7 months old.
	AFTER 4 WEEKS OF THERAPY. The asymmetry is not as pronounced and the curves are softer than before. Ian is 8 months old.
	AFTER 8 WEEKS OF THERAPY. There is more rounding and lengthening in the back, however the left asymmetry is still off. Ian is 8 1/2 months old.
	AFTER 3 MONTHS OF THERAPY. More rounding and lengthening! Ian is 10 months old.
	AFTER 4 MONTHS OF THERAPY. Ian graduates from his 1st DOC Band after 4 1/2 months (July 19, 2001). He is 11 months old.
	DOC Band #2 Treatment begins.... AFTER 6 MONTHS TOTAL TREATMENT. This progress shot was taken after 2 weeks in the 2nd DOC Band . Ian is 12 1/2 months old. The asymmetry on the left side has corrected more as well as more rounding and lengthening in the back.
